1 MIŠKOVIĆ Nikola

Rank:1
Position
Small forward, Power forward
Height
207cm/6'9''
Weight
94kg/207lbs
Current Team
BC Mega Bemax
Season:

6’9” forward is top prospect of his generation, not only in Serbia, but in Europe, what he confirmed by winning MVP award on u18 European championship in 2017, where Serbia won gold medal.

Mišković is an all around scorer with great size and length. Quick, agile and easy moving for his size makes him even more difficult to be guarded. Possesses great offensive skillset, but still growing as a player. Has ability to attack from perimeter, and from low post almost equally. Has to improve defense, but primarly his mindset and wish to play defense. Missed almost whole 2017/18 season due to ankle injury. However, Mišković has huge potential to play on the highest level. His father, Dejan, was a pro basketball player. Novak, his younger brother, plays for Mega Bemax, too.

Strengths

  • great size and length for his position, unreachable for his opponents in most cases
  • ability to shoot from different spots on the perimeter
  • scoring instincts
  • athleticism
  • offensive versatility
  • ability to play in and out

Weaknesses

  • could be passing more, selfish
  • ball handling could be more polished
  • upper body has room to be stronger
  • doesn’t find the best solutions in the paint

RODA U19 FINAL8 2018:

MIŠKOVIĆ Nikola– 99 forward from 2nd placed Mega Bemax. #1 ranked ’99 prospect had good tournament without putting much of an effort on it. Already a senior player went down to the u19 tournament with a mindset
to win the title on his own. But didn’t succeed in his goal. However, he was Mega’s best performer. Scored 71pts in 3 games, had 31 vs Partizan in the SF with some clutch shots when the game was on the line. Had no troubles attacking either stronger or smaller defenders. He was scoring points in various ways, but didn’t have a wish to do better job on defensive end. Nikola had a bad communication with his teammates, looked angry when not having the ball in his hands. Leaving it beside, Mišković played on expected level after good games in KLS superleague for first team.
